Authorities are investigating the death of a Florida driver in a fatal crash on I-75 on Sunday afternoon.
The Florida Highway Patrol says the crash happened just after 4 p.m. on Interstate 85 between Interstate 75 and the state’s southern tip.
Florida Highway Patrol Trooper David Hogue says the driver of a gray Mitsubishi SUV was struck by another vehicle at the junction of Interstate 75 at the Bermada Exit Exit.
Hogue says no injuries were reported.
The crash was investigated by the Florida Highway Safety Patrol and the Florida Department of Transportation.
The driver was not wearing a seat belt and was not using a cell phone, the highway patrol said in a statement.
A preliminary investigation by Florida Department on Aging and Aging Care indicated the crash occurred while the driver was driving on I80 at Bermadia, the department said.
